We had our official opening day on
Saturday. The local Mayor came to open our shop, we had a giant bear
walking around giving out flyers and the news papers came to take
photos, it was a great day!

Oh my goodness !!! We are almost there!
Today I have been at the shop all day stocking the
shelves with lovely bears. Just a few more finishing touches and we
should be open for next week.
I am so excited, The shop looks beautiful.

The shop has been painted, the signs are up!
Just the floor and shelving to fit in now. My dining
room looks like a warehouse and I have bears everywhere!!!
Can't wait to open!!!!

Well, I can't believe its been a year since I updated
my news page! Must try harder!
I will be at
Hugglets this February 22nd, Hall 3 stand 107a. Please come and say
hello.
Also, I have some very exciting news for 2009!
I will be opening a Dusty Attic Bears shop in
Glastonbury, Somerset, from the end of February/beginning of March.
People will be able to visit and watch me make my
bears, there will also be many other bears from various artists,
plus plush bears and bear related gifts.
So I would love to see you!

This was my stand at Hugglets bear Show in Kensington
London. It was a really great day. It was lovely to meet so many
collectors and other artists.

I have just heard that I have been invited to Hugglets Winter bear
festival in Kensington London on the 2nd September. I will be in
hall 4 stand 119. It would be great to see you there. |

More GREAT
news. I have just heard that two more of my bears have been accepted
for the Spring/Summer 2007 range for Deans Rag book Company. Popcorn
is the golden hairy one and Smoo is the other.

On Sunday the 26th of November I attended my
first bear show at Lostwithiel in Cornwall. It was a great day and
it was lovely to meet lots of other artists. Here is a photo of my
stand.
I would like to say a BIG
thank you to Barbara-ann and Andy Cunningham who made my day
possible and also to Mary of Emmary Bears.

I think finally I`m getting the hang of using my web site. I have
only rang Andy about 10 times a day for help!!!!! I have added lots
more bears to page 3 of my gallery and a new photo of me to my
"me page". Still not that great a photo ,but hey anything was better
than the last one!!!!!! |

I also had my first lesson last night on how to use my web site, I
have started to build page 3 of my gallery, please bear with me its
really complicated. AHHHHH. I`d also like to say a very big thank
you to Andy and Barbara-Ann Cunningham for all their help.
Especially to Andy who has built this lovely web site for me and who
has put up with me being rather stupid when it comes to computers
